...three chords and the truth

.....i can't hide from the music at the moment. for the last two weeks christine pretty much hasn't seen me on a night due to my musical shenanigans! i can trace this revival back to christmas. over the christmas period i wrote and recorded 3 songs here. shortly after christmas me 'n' chrsitine started watching our christmas present from pete and jacinta - nashville season 1. and watching the trials and tribulations of these country song makers was inspirational. then a visit to pete where we talked music and chilled further elevated the making of music in my mind. add into this that me 'n' miller have been threatening to start the second 'chriphen mildue' adventure, that i've been thinking i should be doing something with my good friend alex, and that my 'new' good alex friend from work has a great voice and we've been talking about doing something meant action was required.

so this week saw a writing session with miller producing two ambient instrumental pieces. my second rehearsal with 'new' alex is paying massive dividends (...and she has a great voice) in terms of sweet harmonies on some new songs. add into this two wiseguys preparing for our gig at the lookout next weekend go here and playing some great new covers. ....and! playing country and rock 'n' roll tunes with joe in preparation for our spot at his wedding.... means it's music all the way
