2020 Missions....
Between Christmas and New Year is always a good time for mission planning!
This year as ever sees me contemplating how to stay fit and healthy. All the more important in some ways as the book that I'm writing with Lisa and Steph is out in a few months. 'How to Thrive in Professional Practice - A Selfcare Handbook'. Can't be looking unhealthy and out of shape when that hits the shelves can I!
Christmas indulgence always leaves you motivated to want to change I find! Nothing wrong with a bit of indulgence from time to time though! But not when it becomes a weekly occurrence.
This time of year always feels like a time to plan for the next year - obvious really. The value of a plan can not be underestimated. A 10 year plan, a 5 year plan, an annual plan, a monthly plan and a weekly plan! So 2020 missions need to be planned.
...and then at the end of the year ....as I've done before ...we can see how I've done with the plan
The 500 challenge
Run 500 miles, Walk 500 miles, Cycle 500 miles ....go!
Commit to:
Lose weight... 2 stones
Meditate daily 10 mins per day
Stretch - daily 10 mins per day
Strength training twice a week for 15 mins
Let's leave it at that and see how it goes
